All About Year 1...
In Year 1 we learn to be more independent in our work. We still get to learn through play in our Discovery Area.
Our teachers will be:
Mrs Kettlewell, Mrs Horsfield and Miss Shore
In Year 1 we go into assembly more often. However, these will be done virtually at the start of this year. We will continue to have our Star of the Week Assembly, and look forward to seeing all your amazing hard work. In Year 1 there is a chance to take part in a running competition against other schools. We practice by doing the 1k-a-day. We also get lots of opportunities to be active throughout the school day during our learning time.
Our PE days are Monday and Wednesday, please make sure you wear the correct PE uniform.
You can find out more about Year 1 by looking at the information on this page.
