Nursery September 2020

This is the presentation that would normally be shown at the information evening.  Please have a look through.  If you have any questions that you need clarifying, please email head@rowleylane.co.uk during the holidays or you can email the class teachers during term time.

We will may add to this page over time so please do keep checking back.

We look foward to meeting you on your visit and again in September.

In September, different year groups will start at different times in an effort to reduce congestion outside at drop off and pick up times.  Nursery's start time will be 9:15am and finish time will be 3:30pm.   For pupils accessing half day sessions, our morning session will run from 9:15am-12:15pm and our afternoon session from 12:30pm to 3:30pm

Unfortunately we will not be able to offer hot meal provision for Nursery childrent during the first half term so all Nursery children will need to bring a packed lunch.  We apologise for this however we aim to resume this provision after October  Half Term.  For full details about how we are implementing Government Guidance in relation to COVID-19, please see the End of Term Letter here.

A leaflet on getting to school safely produced by Kirklees.

Our car park is not available for parents to use at drop off and pick up times however it can be used if you use the before and after school club facility.  If you cannot walk to school, you need to find a safe and sensible parking space in the local area and then walk to school.  We do have a drop off zone in a morning that is for older children only who can be left unsupervised.

Parents or grandparents of younger children may use the drop off zone for an adult to be dropped off with their young child.  The car must them move on and wait in a sensible and safe place away from the school car park.
